Digital Picture Frame Reviews
As everyone has now made to switch from old cartridge-film type cameras to digital
cameras, we need a way to view our images. The obvious choice to view our digital images
is through a PC but this is often impractical and impossible in some cases where
a PC is simply unavailable. Of course we could print out our pictures – but this
can get very expensive, especially if you have hundreds of photos. So what is the
best portable and convenient way to view digital photos?
By using a digital picture frame you can view your digital pictures anywhere. The
digital photo frame has become a modern day household necessity to that pictures
can be viewed easily and conveniently. We have reviewed a popular Smartparts digital
picture frame which claims to be one of the best available on the market today.

that would compliment any room in your home or office. There is a removable and
adjustable stand that makes viewing so much easier. The large 8 inch photo display
screen displays the pictures with the same crisp high quality that you would expect
from high quality prints. The amazing vibrant bright colors allow you to view the

To display your pictures in the SP8EM simply take out the memory card from your
camera and insert it directly into the frame – then view your pictures. It is that
easy. You don’t need to upload and edit your pictures on a PC first.
When viewing the pictures you will have a choice of normal view or cropped view.
Normal view attempts to fit the pictures on to the screen without any cropping or
stretching whereas crop view pictures will automatically enlarged to fill the screen
without having to stretch them. It is possible to play videos on this frame too.
It will take virtually every memory card type you would possibly imagine and includes
SD, SDHC, compact flash, XD, MMC as well as a flash drive memory stick. There are
two USB ports on the frame, one for host and one for slave. The host port is for
USB flash drives and the slave port allows connectivity to your PC. The amount of
pictures that can be displayed can be increased by using larger size memory cards.
The frame comes complete with the very excellent OptiPix Pro software which you
load into your PC. It allows you to find, optimise and transfer all of your pictures
onto your frame. The software will allow you to view your vertical photos the correct
